| El movimiento de material vegetal entre zonas ha sido algo recurrente históricamente. En la viticultura de los años 80-90 se pusieron de moda las variedades internacionales (Chardonnay, Cabernet-Sauvignon, merlot…) y pedir el vino por el nombre de la variedad. Eso arrastró a poner el nombre de la variedad por delante y a plantar sobre todo las que se suponía que eran las buenas aunque eso llevó a una expansión de variedades en zonas a las que no se adaptan bien. Ahora hay movimientos de material vegetal para afrontar el cambio climático, pero con más cabeza. Por ejemplo en Burdeos se está regulando que se pueden utilizar algunas variedades que no cambian mucho el perfil de los vinos que hacen pero solo en porcentajes muy limitados, para que cualquier cambio que haya sea lento. |
